TSRC MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Tennessee Society for Respiratory Care is to:
  • Promote and advance the profession of Respiratory Care whenever and wherever possible
  • Present opportunities to its membership and other healthcare professionals for advanced education/ learning, particularly in the domains of science, technology, and care of the cardiopulmonary patient
  • Create a forum where cooperation and communication with fellow cardiopulmonary professionals and other healthcare professionals will occur

The Tennessee Society For Respiratory Care (TSRC) is a chartered affiliate of the American Association for Respiratory Care.

History of the TSRC

The Tennessee Society For Respiratory Care (TSRC) was established in the State of Tennessee in the United States of America in 1970. Also in 1970, the Tennessee Chapter of the American Association for Inhalation Therapy received the tax-exemption letter from the IRS, approving its not-for-profit status. This group was an unincorporated professional association. In 1978 the group was incorporated and a charter was filed with the Tennessee Secretary of State under the name Tennessee Society for Respiratory Therapy. In 1995 an amendment to the charter was filed with the Secretary of State changing the name to the Tennessee Society for Respiratory Care, Inc.

TSRC Return and Refund Policy

Refunds: Refunds for event registrations and all other purchases made via the TSRC website will be issued by the TSRC State Treasurer. The refund will be made via check drawn on the TSRC’s bank and mailed via USPS.

Returns: There are no physical items sold via the TSRC website. There is nothing to be returned.
