Bill Farnham

Bill FarnhamThe TSRC has lost a treasure. We have also lost a friend and mentor. Bill Farnham passed on April 20th. Bill served our board for many many years!! Not sure really when he started, but I would bet Tammy could tell us this. He served at the Smoky Mountain Chapter level and worked his way to State President and of course served as Parliamentarian for many years for us. We could always rely on his wisdom and how best to navigate some serious situations through our years together. He was a great friend and colleague and I never knew him to miss a board meeting with us unless his health got in the way. He was very instrumental in getting Mike Bianchi for us and worked with him diligently in getting our website set up. Bill also brought us the Survey Monkey process for some of our elections and our Zoom meetings. Bill brought us Constant Contact and conference call arrangements. He was always ready to assist this board in any way that he could. Bill stood on great values and morals and if he said it, you could believe it. He even helped us with our strategery ( no, that is not misspelled) Bill called TSRC Strategic planning … Strategery! What a great sense of humor he had!! Bill also assisted Tammy in updating Bylaws that we had to send to AARC (twice now), and updating the P & P manual. Bill was not shy to state his opinion and was well respected for it. SO……We must help his legend live on!!
